2nd iGate LoRa put into service

On July 1, 2024, the iGate LoRa TK5KP-2 gateway was commissioned at the Punta site. Initial tests have confirmed its smooth operation. This gateway joins the one installed at Coti-Chiavari and completes the coverage in the Ajaccio area and well beyond. |

TKNet LoRA APRS network

The ARCS has begun testing an APRS LoRa network with the commissioning of an iGate gateway at the Coti Chiavari site. The callsign is TK5KP-10 in locator JN41JS.
APRS LoRa trackers were used for our tests. Initial results are quite conclusive. |
New repeater TK1ZCS QRV

A new TK1ZCS UHF urban relay was commissioned on May 14, 2023 by the TK1CX and TK4TO team.
It is designed to cover the urban area of Bastia and part of the coastline.
Located in Ville di Pietrabugno, it operates on 430.150 MHz, shift +9.4 MHz and TCS 88.5 Hz (like the Ajaccio UHF relay).

REF contest 2023

The radioclub TK5KP could participate in the French SSB 2023 championship. A minimal team could be formed with 3 operators TK4RC, TK5NJ and TK5EP. The propagation was excellent on all bands, and even if we only participated for 25 hours, the result is quite honorable. The terrible weather did not allow our traditionnal "grill" activity... :-) |
